Cookie Policy

Last updated: 28 August 2026

This policy explains how Dabba uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, what each type does, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies - such as local storage - do comparable things, and we use the word "cookies" to cover all of them. Cookies can be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by another provider), and session (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent (they stay for a set period).

2. Our approach

Right now we use only strictly necessary cookies - the ones needed to make the site work and to remember your cookie choice. We do not currently use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. If that changes, we'll add the category here, update our banner, and set those cookies only after you agree.

3. The cookies we use

Cookie / itemPurposeTypeConsent needed?
Session & security (e.g. CSRF token)Keeps the site secure and lets the "register your interest" form submit safelyFirst-party, sessionNo - strictly necessary
Cookie choiceRemembers that you've seen and responded to our cookie notice, so we don't ask againFirst-party, persistent (local storage)No - strictly necessary

We also load web fonts from Google Fonts to display this site. That involves your browser making a request to Google, but it does not set advertising or tracking cookies on your device. See our Privacy Policy for more on that.

4. Managing cookies

Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, there's nothing here to switch off without breaking the site. You can still control cookies in your browser - most browsers let you block or delete them (see aboutcookies.org or your browser's help). If we introduce non-essential cookies in future, you'll be able to accept or reject them through our cookie banner.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site and our tools change. We'll update the "last updated" date, and any move to use non-essential cookies will be reflected in the banner before it happens. Please check back for the latest version.
